After one year from the commissioning of the Pedrini multiwire machine Jupiter GS200-W40, Thor Group (Manilha Itaborai' - Rio de Janeiro), a Brazilian leading company in the granite blocks processing field, has reaffirmed its trust in the new multiwire technology for the granite slabs cutting by buying two more Pedrini multiwire machines Jupiter GS200-W64.
The cutting data we have collected from the machine GS200-W40 after 12 working months, both production and economic data, have been surprising: all kinds of Brazilian granites, which stand our for their variousness in hardness and composition, have been cut by means of the Pedrini multiwire machine Jupiter GS200-W40.
The two new multiwire machines Jupiter GS200-W64 will enable Thor Group to reduce the labor and operation costs, speeding up the production process, and to confirm its worldwide leadership in the granite processing field.
This is another step towards the execution of the project 'THORGRAN' at Barra Sao Francisco in the state of Espirito Santo in Brazil, where Thor Group aims to develop a modern and efficient factory positioned in a strategic area near lots of quarries. Pedrini, in addition to providing the machinery, has taken part from the beginning with its engineers to the technical-logistic study of this plant, which will be one of the most productive in Brazil.
