Universal M940

Description

UNIVERSAL M940 is a milling machine for the production of building, furniture and funerary art elements. The cast iron asymmetrical structure allows the cutting area to be monitored from a convenient position on the ground outside the machine.

The special 'triangular' closed section and internal ribbing make the UNIVERSAL M940's bridge very strong. The mechanisms for transverse movement are housed in the very large shoulders section. The pinion/rack couplings are equipped with devices for the continuous clearance recovery that guarantee precision in movement.

The guides for the transverse movement of the bridge are effectively protected with special guards against dust and water from any direction.

All motions motors are controlled by encoders. The control panel is mounted on a revolving arm in a convenient and safe position.

Cycles and cutting parameters are managed by a PLC with a large touch-screen control panel. The rotating table is motorized and can be tilted on request.

On request, the M940 milling machine can be supplied with the laser cutting device and the table, with or without hydraulic tilting, manual or motorized rotation.
