A new Pedrini multiwire lands at Gold Capital in Taiwan
Gold Capital is a family-owned company based in Hualien, the most significant district in Taiwan for natural stone processing. The family-run business employs approximately 30 people and processes granite blocks mainly imported from Brazil, India, Africa, and China.
To enhance the quality and speed of cutting, the company recently replaced four gang saws with a multiwire Jupiter by Pedrini with 80 wires. The decision to opt for a high number of wires was driven by the substantial size of the granite blocks the company works with, and this choice fully met their needs.
"After careful analysis, we chose Pedrini because their multiwire machines are widely used and recognized in the market," explained Mr. Calvin, owner of Gold Capital. "The large number of machines installed worldwide confirmed us about the reliability of their technologies."
The Pedrini multiwire machine is designed to maximize efficiency in slab production, ensuring fast and accurate cuts while adapting perfectly to any production requirements. Its sturdy structure and hydraulic pressure system guarantee optimal wire tension.
Gold Capital's offerings vary according to the type of customers, ranging from supplying slabs to finished products, thanks to the presence of waterjets, bridge saws and edge polisher machines in its facilities.
Collaboration with architects is an integral part of their daily activities to meet the demands of their market, primarily local. Much of their business is generated through participation in auctions and tenders for the supply of external and internal cladding for the construction of skyscrapers and buildings in Taipei.
