Description
MULTIWIRE JUPITER TECH12 is an open frame multiwire machine for the industrial production of 12 mm-thick granite and marble slabs that performs block fast cutting with a set of 5.3 mm-diameter diamond wires. It is available in several versions that differ for the number of wires: 48, 60, 72 and 108.
MULTIWIRE JUPITER TECH12 is part of a project that Pedrini started in 2019 to industrialize the processing of 12 mm-thick slabs, starting from the cutting of natural stone blocks, including granite, quartzite and marble, to create a more versatile and lightweight finished product.
MULTIWIRE JUPITER TECH12 has 6 patents and it stands out for its flexibility, reliability, absolute state-of-the-art technical solutions and extremely high production capacity. In fact, the new Pedrini multiwire significantly increases the block yield to 55.5 m2 per each cubic meter cut.

Machine components
The flywheel is driven by the multiwire machine's main motor to transmit rotational motion to the diamond wires. Pedrini patented a flywheel covering system using modular bands.
Wire-guide roller positioned at the top of the machine to maintain the correct spacing between wires and prevent them from touching in the upper return stroke.
The columns and upper crossbeam incorporate the elements for the vertical movement of the wires and for machine securing it to the foundation.
The block carrier trolley is an integral part of the machine and is supplied in different sizes depending on the useful cutting width of the multiwire.
The diamond wire tensioner is the technological heart of the multiwire and is one of the patents Pedrini has been most dedicated to.
The Master allows the first pre-tensioning of the diamond wires to be carried out uniformly.
