The cutting plant consists of two state-of-the-art Multiwire Jupiter machines, the first with 72 wires and the second with 80. The specific location of the machines and customer customization make it a one-of-a-kind cutting facility.
The calibration and polishing line includes the SPECTRA planetary calibrating machine, which grinds the slabs with exclusive Grifone heads, ensuring flatness and thickness uniformity. This is followed by a Galaxy GX polishing machine equipped with 2 Aquila diamond heads and 10 sequential heads with 7 levers.
For the delicate polishing phase, Margraf has chosen the Galaxy GX-T3, the three-beam slab polishing machine that is revolutionizing the industry. Thanks to the synchronous or independent movement of the beams, the GX-T3 allows for the simultaneous processing of slabs with different sizes, ensuring high productions thanks to the continuous processing system that allows to never empty the belt when processing slabs with different widths or thicknesses.
