Butterfly B416

Description

For the book match polishing lines, Pedrini has the Butterfly B416 automatic loader/unloader equipped with all the necessary axes of movement to effectively manage the side and direction of entry/exit of the slabs. In this case, the suction cup robot with overhead rail tracks must be combined with a rotating comb shaped roller bench and a slabs support.

Butterfly B416 is also available:

• with double transversal track to operate on 4 positions: two slab storage locations, one comb shaped support location and one slab loading/unloading location
• with vertical grip and release for particularly fragile or porous materials such as travertine

The work cycle, programmed by PLC, can control up to 5 axes of motion; the suction cup unit performs rotation up to 360°.

The operating elements, which are stressed only in traction by the weight of the material and move on overhead running tracks, do not create ground clutter and ensure extreme stability.

A safety system ensures that the vacuum is maintained in the event of a momentary power failure.
