Gravity B480

Description

To facilitate the operator's work during the resin mixing and application phase, several solutions are available. The automatic mixer for resin mixing can be connected to Gravity: the Cartesian robot designed by Pedrini capable of performing the resin application cycle automatically:

• Acquisition of the size and shape of the slab
• Processing of the tool path
• Resin distribution

It is the ideal solution for large production capacities. In addition, it can operate in combination  with automatic reinforcement net dispensers.

Gravity has three axes of movement: X and Y for horizontal movement over the material surface; Z for vertical adjustment of the distance between the tool and the material.

Gravity operates with a rotating head to which inclined spatulas are mounted. Alternatively, it can operate with an idler roller that automatically swivels with each stroke.

Axis working parameters and the quantity of the two resin components are programmable on the touch-screen panel. Acquisition of the size and shape of the slab is carried out via a sensor bar positioned at the entrance to the Gravity's work area.

The Gravity B480 robot can operate with two types of tools:

• Rotating head with spatulas
• Idler roller with automatic orientation
