Description

Catalysis is the chemical reaction of the resin until it hardens. At the end of this process, the slabs are unloaded and moved to the next working lines.

Pedrini's RESINLINE plants make use of two types of ovens: the exclusive microwave oven system and a multi-level tower system.

To speed up the catalysis process, Pedrini has designed MICROWAVE, the microwave oven that is the result of an exclusive study carried out by the company, the first to broadly apply this technology in the natural stone sector.

The main stages of catalysis with microwave technology are:

• Slab entrance into the oven
• Door closure
• Automatic cycle to activate the resin even in depth in a few minutes
• Doors opening for slab exit
• Retouch
• Slab entry into the tower to complete the process

MICROWAVE is an oven that operates with closed doors with total safety for the operator.
