Description

SUPERNOVA-M is a machine, available in different models, designed and manufactured by Pedrini to calibrate, hone and polish strips of marble, travertine and other natural stones with predominantly calcareous composition.

The calibrating machines calibrate the strips by means of diamond tools to obtain the desired thickness.

The honing and polishing machines produce the desired surface finishing thanks to a series of rotating plates with Frankfurt-type abrasives composed of different grain.

The SUPERNOVA-M machines are the result of the Pedrini’s technological know-how which, with many years of experience in the field and more than 2,000 machines produced in almost 60 years of experience, is a reliable partner, able to offer highly innovative solutions to meet the new plants standards of companies working in the natural stone business.

SUPERNOVA-M calibrating, honing and polishing machines can work individually or within complete lines for the production of "modulmarmo" and other formats. They are reinforced with exclusive technologies, ensuring maximum production speeds with simultaneous reduction of consumption, maintenance and depreciation.

The maximum processing thickness is 50 mm. Upon request, the variant to process thicknesses up to 100 mm can be added.

The various models of the SUPERNOVA-M calibrating, honing and polishing machines are equipped with a variable number of calibrating and polishing heads. The choice of the number of calibrators and polishing plates is made according to various parameters including the type of material, the conveyor forwarding speed and the specific processing requirements.

For soft materials honing, such as travertine and limestone, there is the special variant of an additional head with a fixed and interchangeable abrasive-holding plate with a diameter in compliance with the width of the material being processed.
