Tunnel drying over

Description

Deep drying of the material before resin application is essential. The drying and pre-heating oven must perform a dual action: removing residual moisture from the slabs and heating them up to a temperature suitable for resin application, approximately 40°C.

Pedrini's RESINLINE plants use two types of ovens:

• exclusive horizontal tunnel system
• multi-level towers system

Both systems provide thermo-controlled hot air recirculation.

The tunnel drying oven is a Pedrini exclusive and consists of a tunnel shielded with insulating panels. The hot air flow has a direction opposite to the movement of the material and ensures that moisture is first blown away and then eliminated. After passing through a heat exchanger, located externally, the dry air is recycled and re-emitted into the circuit.

The supports containing the slabs are transported into the tunnel by motorized conveyors, while two lifts located at the ends allow the transfer to the upper processing level.

Pedrini RESINLINE plants are fully customizable based on various requirements, including the type of drying.

RESINLINEs with drying tunnel have material loading and unloading near one end of the line, allowing both easy operation management and optimization of available space.
